The Gallery of Art, main core of the management of the Institution, is where the aspirations of the same one as far as the selection of the artists to commercialize will be materialized, the hierarchial structure of the work of art with its consequent increase of price and the search of a portfolio of clients in the country as much as abroad.
The institution is born as a loosening of the already existing Cuban Fund of Cultural Goods (FCBC), subordinated to the National Council of the Plastic Arts.
Its social object is to represent, to promote, to produce and to commercialize, both national and international, the genres that are located in the denominated visual arts and their supports of management agglutinating a selection of the most representative talent of the cultural values and with more potential of commercialization, through a professional work based on flexible economic mechanisms and management, similar to the internationally established, that turn it into a reliable and attractive option for the selected creators.
